"The MBA program offered at the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ is personalized to an individual's unique areas of interest; in addition, it is an extremely well-rounded program that covers all necessary areas of a great business education. The education that I received has taught me the importance of hard work and dedication, while preparing me to succeed at any of life's challenges. I was fortunate enough to experience real-world diversity in a small, classroom setting. During my time at the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ, I received vital guidance and formed long-lasting relationships with both my peers and instructors. No matter what goals or additional certifications one may aspire to achieve, a Scranton education will more than prepare any individual."
Adnan Herbawi
MBA, Accounting & Finance, 2016, Washington, DC, USA
"While I was searching for schools in the United States to get my Master's degree, I found out that a very successful friend of mine who is currently a CFO attended Scranton in the late '90s and has accomplished a lot ever since. I prepared my luggage and flew to Scranton in August 2014, and spent two amazing years there, where opportunities were coming my way all the time. Besides earning my MBA in Accounting and Finance, I worked closely with the international office, received a graduate assistantship, worked as a tutor, and earned a lifetime membership in the international business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma. In addition, my professors encouraged me to start preparing for the CPA exam. I passed the four parts of the exam in a nine-month period. The MBA program in the Kania School is designed to equip students with the tools, skills and knowledge to lead companies and institutions in the United States and around the globe. Currently, I am working in Washington, D.C. and am so proud that I am a Scranton alumnus."

"What makes the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s MBA program different from other programs across the country is its strong sense of community. Employees and students alike are extremely welcoming and have the gift of making even the shyest person feel at home. The professors are easily accessible and passionate about creating a unique learning experience for their students. They get to know you personally through one-on-one attention, help you reach your academic goals, and want you to succeed both professionally and personally. The students at the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ come from many backgrounds, which allows for diverse conversations both in and out of the classroom. Like the professors, your fellow students are eager to get to know you and make you feel welcome. I often work together with my classmates to collaborate on a project, making it more like a “real world” scenario.
