Prayer
Jesus, you are the door to life and you challenge those who have been touched by your Spirit to be salt and light for all people. Through these four apostolic preferences we open ourselves to renewal and commit ourselves anew to the great work that you’ve entrusted to us.
-Give us the gift of interior freedom that we may discern your will in our lives and in our communities.
-Give us eyes to see the needs of the poor and marginalized so that through the work of our hands we might bring reconciliation and justice to all.
-Give us joyful hearts that we may accompany the youth of the world as they create a hope-filled future.
-Give us the strength to work with our sisters and brothers throughout the world as we care for our common home: the earth.
Continue to bless us and strengthen us that we, through the power of Your Spirit, become agents of peace and healing. We ask this in Your Holy Name. Amen.
