Licensed Behavior Specialist

Mission Autism Clinics

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am from Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. I work for Mission Autism Clinics (MAC) as a licensed behavior specialist. I manage a caseload of six children, ranging in age from two to seven years old, preparing their programming to focus on communication, social/play/leisure, adaptive behaviors, and behavior reduction programs.

How did you get into the ABA field?

I began working as a behavior specialist, and really fell in love with Applied Behavior Analysis and what ABA is all about.

Why did you choose Scranton's program?

I chose The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ because I loved what the program had to offer.

What are your future plans after graduation?

I plan to finish my fieldwork experience by the end of summer and sit for the board (exam) by fall.

What did you like about Scranton's program?

I already maintain a master's in psychology with a concentration in ABA, but due to the task list change, I had to return to school. The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ provided everything I needed to succeed -- online classes, as well as live lectures, and professors that were available.
