Courses in Mathematics
The Mathematics Placement Test (ALEKS) is a tool used to determine the first mathematics course for students entering the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. All entering students without an approved mathematics transfer credit are required to take the test. Adhering to the ALEKS placement recommendations is strongly advised to assure the most optimal path to fulfill a student's major requirements. Additionally, many mathematics courses have prerequisites utilizing the ALEKS score (see the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Undergraduate Catalog). Students not meeting a course prerequisite will not be able to register for that course. Any questions related to the mathematics placement process should be directed to one of the mathematics placement coordinators: Dr. Jasinski , Dr. Plotka or Dr. Shimkus
