Internships and Practical Experience

Students in the undergraduate counseling and human services program are trained to put theory into practice and are prepared to complete two required internships (totally 350 fieldwork hours) nearing the end of the program.

A career seminar course prepares students to secure internships, and these internships give our students opportunities to explore their career interests in the field and to increase their employability. Here are some of the places where our students have done internships.
