Overview

Students are required to complete 3 full-time clinical experiences as specified in the DPT curriculum. The first two clinical experiences that occur between during the summers after year 1 and year 2 are both 10-weeks. The final terminal clinical experience is 14-weeks. Clinical experience sites are located throughout the United States, but are predominately in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. The Physical Therapy program has fully executed contracts with clinical sites across the United States, allowing our students ample choices to satisfy program requirements. The clinical education experiences are provided in a variety of clinical practice settings designed to model clinical practice environments.  Students are required to complete at least 1 clinical experience in an outpatient setting and 1 clinical experience in an inpatient setting.
