The ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Gives Back: A Season of Caring.

Join us at a service site near you. Most projects will be held on April 12. There are a few that are scheduled for April 26 and May 3. Please see dates next to locations.

Illinois

Greater Chicago Food Depository -April 12
4100 West Ann Lurie Place
Chicago, IL
Two shifts: 8:30 - 11:15 a.m.

Volunteers will be repacking donated and purchased food into smaller quantities, sorting produce, inspecting and boxing shipments of bread. Volunteers must be 11 years of age or older.

Massachusetts

Cradles to Crayons--April 26

10-12 p.m.

Volunteers will be working in the Giving Factory processing children's items that are donated-sorting, inspecting and packing donations for distribution.

Volunteers must be ages 5 and up. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

New Jersey

Community Food Bank of New Jersey--May 3

 Volunteers will be sorting food, assembling boxes, packing pasta or prepping food to be distributed to network partners and members of the community.

Catholic Charities Event on Long Island-April 12

Two shifts: 10-12:30 p.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m.

Volunteers will be setting up, serving food, cleaning up and interacting with residents at the
Spring Formal that Catholic Charities holds for residents in their group homes

10-noon

Volunteers will be participating in a clean-up project at the park. All materials will be provided.

North Carolina

Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina--May 3

9-12 p.m.

Volunteers will be sorting and bagging produce, cereal, rice or pasta into family size bags, building boxes for senior citizens, other activities as needed.

Volunteers will be packing boxes of food for one of the food bank's many programs.

Volunteers must be 14 or older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers will be painting, cleaning the playground area, organizing rooms and working in the food pantry.

The Order of Alhambra invites alumni, parents and friends to Chacko's to cheer on Special Olympic bowlers.
