Office of General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for all legal issues affecting the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ. The office’s responsibilities include: monitoring federal and state legislation to ensure the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ is in compliance with its legal obligations; assisting in formulating and implementing institutional strategies to avoid future legal problems; overseeing litigation involving the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ; reviewing contracts between the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ and outside vendors or agencies; coordinating the response to subpoenas and other requests for information; reviewing proposed policies and procedures; and handling zoning, tax and other issues relating to the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ’s real estate.
