Orientation

The International Student Orientation is scheduled the week before classes commence according to the academic calendar. Orientation takes place at the Office of Global Education (OGE) located in O'Hara Hall

Orientation for new international students is scheduled the Friday of the week before classes commence and is mandatory for all new international students and scholars. It is highly recommended that you arrive at least 2 days before orientation as to allow yourself time to check-in and tend to personal matters before the semester starts. Upon arrival in Scranton, you are required to report to the OGE. Failure to check in may cause your visa to be canceled and result in the loss of your non-immigrant status.

Arriving early during Orientation Week is a great opportunity to get to meet your fellow international students, as well as check out all the great things Downtown Scranton has to offer. Download our City Guide, created especially for our International Community, and familiarize yourself with the community right outside your door.
