Instructional Technology Services

The CTLE offers Instructional Technology Services to faculty and students in the teaching and learning environment.

Services Available

  • Brightspace Support

  • Online Tutorials

    The CTLE has developed a number of online tutorials (containing audio/video) for students in technology, study skills, writing, and Brightspace.

  • Web Page Development

    Staff or TechCons (student consultants) are available to assist students in developing, enhancing, or updating web pages.

  • Portfolio and E-Portfolio Support

    Portfolios allow students to document their learning and reflect on their own growth. They are also a great assessment tool. Students can get assistance in creating portfolios and/or electronic portfolios. Capturing still pic tures and video, transferring files from a digital or video camera to a computer, editing graphics and video, scanning, and saving everything to a server-based folder as well as burning it to a CD are all part of the E-Portfolio services offered.

  • Assistance with PowerPoint Presentations

    The CTLE can provide assistance to students in creating/designing PowerPoint presentations. This includes incorporating text, graphics (photos and clipart), animation, audio/video, Web links, and backgrounds to enhance the present ation.

  • Assistance with Windows Movie Maker and Other Multimedia Resources

    Staff and student technical consultants are available to assist students in using multimedia resources that are available in the Instructional Lab in the CTLE (STT589) such as scanners, digital cameras, video cameras, and color printers.
