Financial Wellness

 Financial Wellness is having the knowledge, ability and desire to make intelligent financial decisions, as well as having the capacity to live a happy life within one’s means. At the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ, we believe that developing a better understand of financial concepts is part of a well-rounded college experience. 

Learn Before You Earn

All ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ students are able to expand their financial wellness knowledge by using Financial Avenue. A free service that helps to provide students with the tools to help sharpen their financial literacy skills. Visit Scranton Financial Wellness  to access the directions to sign up for Financial Avenue and learn more about Financial Wellness at Scranton, including individual sessions with a financial counselor.  The Financial Aid Office is located in St. Thomas Hall room 401. CHEW's Peer Health Educators partner with Financial Aid to host events and handout information to help students better understand more about personal finance and all the great resources available to students while they're on campus. Be on the lookout for our PHE Team handing out giveaways and information around campus on wellness topics including personal finance.
