About the Center
Leadership Development
There are many opportunities within our office to gain crucial leadership skills that are necessary for success on campus and beyond. We provide mini workshops. We empower our students to lead in various roles from facilitation of classes to leading the Orientation program to chairing event planning committees.
Programming
Our student run programming board is key in providing entertainment options for the campus community. The ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Programming Board (USPB) is a student run organization with the purpose of sponsoring social, cultural, educational, and recreational events at the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. We strive to make all of our programs accessible and enjoyable for the campus community. The students involved in USPB will gain valuable leadership experience and learn more about programming and the implementation of both small and large scale events. The programming board plans events such as movies, concerts, comedians, trips, and much more. Each year we plan over 50 events as “Men & Women for Others” that are open to university students, faculty and staff, and most of which are free.
Orientation
The Orientation program prepares incoming students and their parents by providing an opportunity to meet with other students, staff and faculty who can answer questions about what to expect when school begins. It is an opportunity to discuss the rights and responsibilities of students and their parents as they move through the higher education process.
